Tommie Born

Tommie Jean Born, beloved wife, mother, and mimi, passed away Thursday, October 26^th, 2023.  She was born in Searcy, Arkansas on February 18^th, 1948, to Eugene and Helen Ghent Covington.  She was a substitute teacher and interior designer.

She is survived by her son Traig Born and wife, Angel; daughter-in-law Jessalynn Born; three grandchildren, Traig Born Jr., Helen Rose Born, and Pifer Covington Born; two sisters Kim Cox and Holly Hill; brother David Covington; sisters-in-law Cindy Akers and Patty Capaldo; nephews Cody Cox, Clay Cox, Rance Hill, Aaron Hill, Mathew Akers, Aaron Akers, and niece Christy Hill. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Craig Born; son Ty Born; mother Helen Covington; father Eugene Covington, mother and father-in-law Joe and Louise Bazylewicz; brothers-in-law Larry Cox and Randy Hill.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 3, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W.
