Tommie Colaw

Tommie "Charlene" Colaw, 77, of Jacksonville, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 3rd, 2026. Charlene was born on September 24, 1948, in Austin, Arkansas. She retired from the NCO as head cashier through the Air Force base.

She never met a stranger and was a kind and loving friend, who would help anyone in any way she could. She was stubborn, independent, fiery and the foundation of her family. She loved her lighthouses, hummingbirds and sitting around playing cards and dancing. Most of all she loved being with her loved ones and animals. We love and miss her but know she is with the ones she missed dearly. This isn't a “goodbye” but a “see you later”.

Charlene is survived by her daughter Deanna K. Stane; granddaughters Cassie Escobar and Heather Wilson; great grandchildren, Aurora Williams, Aaron Williams, Zander Segovia, Jaiden Self, Talon Crissup, Maddix Williams, and Everleigh Williams.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Dillia Kirkland; her siblings Donia Strickland, Doyle Kirkland, and Doris Gunter; her daughter Julie Irmer; and granddaughter Samantha Williams.

Her memorial service will be Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 4-5 p.m at Smith-Westbrook Funeral home at 404 W. Dewitt Henry Drive, Beebe. Cremation arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. Online guestbook at www.smithfamilycares.com
