Tommie F. Ross age 84 of Arkadelphia died Thursday, November 11, 2010 in Hot Springs. He was born October 13, 1926 in England, Arkansas the son of the late Alva Franklin and Shelly Mae Paurm Ross. Tommie was a retired welder and a U. S. Army veteran. His wife, Ella Mae Stumon Ross on March 21, 2010 and one son, Donnie Fite preceded him in death.
Survivors include six sons, Tom Ross Jr.; Ike Ross; Rocky Ross all of Seward, Oklahoma; James Ross of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; Tony Ross of Raceland, Louisiana; Jim Ross of Aguila, Arizona; five daughters, Ruth Fite of Des Moines, Iowa; Sharon Dillon; Linda Tims; Frankie Faucet all of Seward, Arkansas; Evelyn Rinkle of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three brothers, Odell Ross of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; Bobby Joe Ross of Myrtle Beach, Oregon; Alex Ross of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; two sisters, Roxie Hoffman of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; Myrtle Langley of Phoenix, Arizona; thirty-three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Monday, November 15th at Macedonia Cemetery near Dalark. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
