Tommy Ted Tobin, Jr. age 71, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock.
He was born July 24, 1951 in Bossier City, Louisiana to Tommy Ted Tobin Sr. and Genevieve Williams Tobin.
Tom was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was the retired Director of Emergency Services for Baptist Health Medical Center-Arkadelphia where he was known as T³. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus-4th degree and an Arkansas Game & Fish Instructor and was a chairman on the Arkadelphia Planning Commission.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Ted Tobin Sr., a daughter-in-law, Amy Tynes Tobin; his father-in-law, Ulysses S. Airhart; his mother-in-law, Aurelia Kerry Airhart; and brothers-in-law, Larry Airhart and Wayne Airhart.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty years, Sharon Airhart Tobin; his son, Tommy Ted Tobin III of Natchitoches, Louisiana; his daughter, Melissa A. Tobin Blakeney (Justin) of Arkadelphia; his mother, Genevieve Tobin of Natchitoches, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Hunter Blakeney, Cypress Blakeney, Jason Blakeney and Heather Tobin; brothers, Michael Tobin (Barbara) of Shreveport, Louisiana and Patrick Tobin (Cecilia) of Charleston, South Carolina; brother-in-law, Ambrose Airhart (Anna) of Natchitoches, Louisiana and sisters-in-law, Candace Airhart of Pensacola, Florida and Melanie Airhart of Deville, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Arkadelphia.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Arkadelphia.
Burial will be held Friday, December 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Catholic Cemetery in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
