Tracy Ruth (Harkleroad) Pitts, 85, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009. She was a retired Quality Control operator for Remington Arms, Inc.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Pitts and Dennis Benson, of North Little Rock; five sons and daughters-in-law, D.W. ?Bill? Pitts, Jr., of Bartlett, Tennessee, Mike and Susan Pitts, of England, Dan and Linda Pitts, of Bartlett, Tennessee, Ron Pitts and Angelia King, of Richmond, Virginia and Rick and Mary Pitts, of Bryant; two sisters, Teresa Hayes, of Indianapolis, Indiana and Theda Miller, of Boise, Idaho; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, D.W. Pitts, Sr.; brother, Bob Harkleroad and her sister, Peggy Bastianelli.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 904 Autumn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
