Tracy Douglas Robbins, 71, of Glenwood, passed away suddenly at his home on March 20, 2026. He was born on April 2, 1954, to Ottis and Othal Mitchell Robbins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father and mother-in-law, Denman and Gladys “Pookie” Sanders. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Conway.


Tracy graduated from Glenwood High School in 1972 and went on to attend the University of Central Arkansas and Henderson State University, graduating from Henderson in 1976. He married Susan Sanders on July 12, 1974.


He began his career with General Motors Acceptance Corporation in 1981 and retired in 2015 after serving in North Little Rock, Little Rock, Fort Smith, Memphis, St. Louis, and Atlanta. He and Susan returned to Glenwood in 2020. Tracy made lasting friendships through his career, his community, and his many hobbies and interests. He especially loved hunting with his son and grandson.


Tracy is survived by his wife, Susan Robbins; his daughter, Amy Broyles (Nathan), and their children Parker and Claire of Hot Springs; his son, Kevin, of North Little Rock; his sister, Drucilla Robbins Hancock (Milton), of Statesville, North Carolina; his brother-in-law, Larry Sanders of Glenwood; nieces Janie Sanders Yancy, Jennifer Johnson Hill, and Kelly Kissire; nephews Jeff Hancock, Neil Hancock, and Rickey Johnson; and many cousins and friends.


Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home in Glenwood.


A drop-by visitation will be held at Tracy and Susan’s home at 8 Sanders Rd., Glenwood, AR on Thursday, March 25 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
