Treva Peppers

Treva Peppers, age 79, of White Bluff, Tennessee, formerly of Glenwood, AR passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024.

She was born on September 15,1944, in Idabel, Oklahoma, the daughter of Hoyt Homer Perrin and Linnie Hazel Vaughn Perrin.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Lacy Peppers Chivers; her sisters, Phyllis Jean Golden and Marquetta Peppers; and brother-in-law, Don Peppers; her brother-in-law Dennis Peppers; her sister-in-law Arva Della “Wally” Peppers; and her great-niece, Hope Reid.

Treva is survived by her loving husband, Paul Peppers of White Bluff, Tennessee; her daughter, Penny Peppers of White Bluff; her son in law Rusty Chivers and her grandchildren, Lila Bleu Chivers and Witt Paul Alden Chivers both of Fairview, TN; her two nieces, Kelli (Tommy) Gannon and Twyla Golden; her four nephews, Ki (Holly) Peppers, Steven (Margret) Peppers, David Peppers, and Tracy (Cindy) Golden; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Treva was a beautician for over 50 years. She loved cutting hair and visiting with her clients. She loved her family and church family especially her Sunday school group. She and Paul had just celebrated 56 years together on 1/20/24. She loved children and could hardly go anywhere without picking up a baby. She was always meeting new people being her fun and kind self.   

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made to the Mount Tabor Cemtery.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 10, 2024, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Erby Burgess officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, February 9, 2024, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, 209 North Third Street, Glenwood, Arkansas 71943. Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kaci Reid, Gage Reid, Witt Chivers, Brock Harris, Adam Harris, and Rusty Chivers.
