Troy Dale Buck, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 26, 2026. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 1, 1939 in Fendley, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Myrtie Buck; and his brother-in-law, Bill Deaton.
He married the love of his life, Emma Sutton, on April 6, 1962. Troy graduated Amity High School in 1957. After high school he attended auto body college in Nashville, Tennessee. After working for several car dealerships, he opened his own body shop in Amity and later owned Troy's Auto Sales.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Emma Buck of Amity; his daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and John Hollifield of Hopper; his son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Christy Buck of Amity; his granddaughter Emily (Mitchell) Williams of Hampton; his grandson, Jesse (Kyleigh) Hollifield of Hopper; his great-granddaughter, Tinlee Williams; his two sisters and brother-in-law, Clara Deaton of Amity and Diane and Tom Sutton of Amity; his brother and sister-in-law, Elton and Joan Buck of Arkadelphia; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.
Troy enjoyed living life to the fullest, pulling pranks, making jokes, and spending time with his family.
The family will be holding a celebration of life on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Amity Second Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Forsythe and Bro. Gary Jennings officiating.
