Tula Peters
Tula Avo Jackson Peters, 89, of Holiday Island, Arkansas went to be with her Lord May 1, 2017. She was a member of Jacksonville Freewill Baptist Church. She was an avid collector of many things, including friends. She was a faithful member of the Holiday Island Elks Lodge #1042.
Tula was preceded in death by her husband J. D. Peters; one daughter Dorothy Pearson; two brothers Wesley Jones and William Rex Jackson; and two grandsons David Grayson and Martin Grayson.
She is survived by three daughters, Wanda (Gene) Ochrymowich of Gilbert, Arizona, Joanie (Wally) Kratzer of Holiday Island, and Vera Stevens of Little Rock; twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Weir Cemetery. Another service will be held at the Holiday Island Elks Lodge #1042 at a later date. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.
