Vanalen Landrum of Ward, Arkansas, was born in Onida, Tennessee and grew up in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He served nine years in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Landrum; son Robert Landrum, stepdaughter, Margaret Vanier; three step-grandchildren, Erin and husband William Hedgepeth , Colby and Mikayla; mother and stepdad Wanda and Andrew McNeely; sister Rita Sullivan and husband Milton, sister Andrea Convers and husband Sergio; Aunt and Uncle Juanell and Robert Wartena.
Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home. www.SmithFamilyCares.com
