Vanessa Odell, age 55, of Bismarck, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 near Bismarck. She was born July 6, 1960 to Elmer and Louise Wilkerson. Vanessa was a member of Bismarck Church of Christ and formerly worked at Scroll Technologies in Arkadelphia. She was a very kind-hearted person, loved animals and always willing to help anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Tommy Wilkerson.
Survivors are her husband, Chris Odell; two cousins, Karen Armstrong and Barry Milloway both of Luxora, Arkansas; aunts, Sheeron Shuffield and husband, Rudy of Royal, Arkansas, Linda Lewis and husband, Dr. Jim of Dumas, Arkansas; numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10:00 am Monday, January 11th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Russ Comeaux and Chris Morrison officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Clark County Humane Society, 627 Walnut St. Arkadelphia, AR. 71923.
