Vanitha Garige

The family of Vanitha Prakasham Garige would like to thank you for honoring her memory with your presence.

Vanitha Prakasham Garige went peacefully to her Heavenly home on September 1st, 2021. She was 74. Vanitha was born on December 11, 1946, in Medak, India to the late Anatha Rao and Sundaramma Muthyala. She was a beloved wife, loving mother and grandma. Mrs. Vanitha worked as a high school teacher at Wesley High School and retired after thirty-three years of service. She was generous, kind, loving and spiritual. Her hobbies included knitting, embroidery, gardening, cooking and loved to spend time with the family. She was a devoted Christian with strong faith.

In addition to her parents, Vanitha was preceded in death by her husband Gnana Prakasham Garige. Left to cherish her memory are son and daughter-in-law - Vipin and Sireesha; daughter and son-in-law - Mamatha and Sagar; four grandchildren - Vania, Nathania, Daniel and Nathan; five siblings – Swaroopa Rani, Jaya Pradha, Hemraj, Arundhathi and Shylaja and a host of extended family and friends. She was a spiritual mother to many.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm - 5:00pm, Saturday, September 4th 2021 followed by Funeral/Memorial service at 5:00pm, at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home with Gerald Driskill officiating the service.
