Velda Bernice Fecher, 89, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, March 4, 2019. She was born June 23, 1929 in El Paso, Arkansas to James and Mary Conway.

She enjoyed camping, traveling, crossword puzzles and was a Dental Hygienist and homemaker. She was a member of Pike Ave. Baptist, Baring Cross Baptist and First Baptist of Sherwood.

Bernice is survived by two sons, Melvin R. Fecher (Wanda); Shawn Fecher (Amy); grandchildren, Cecilia Dawn Cates (Ronnie), Tonya Fecher, Peyton Fecher, Mason Fecher and Cain Gunnett; great-grandchildren, Adam “A.J.” Sanchez, Jr. and Aaron Sanchez; and brother Burl Archer (Bernice). She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin Arnold Fecher; brother, James A. Conway and her sister, Marie Bartlett.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Student Life Center of New Life Church Greater Little Rock, with visitation following the service. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at noon on Thursday, March 14, 2019.
