Velda Ann Sandberg, 74, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church in North Little Rock and was employed by Centennial Bank in Levy.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Hollis, of Little Rock; son, Carl Sandberg and wife, Leslie of North Little Rock; six grandchildren, Brandi Hollis, Zachary Hollis, Emily Sandberg, Hannah Sandberg, Abigail Sandberg and Carlie Sandberg; sister, Barbara Martin and brother, Harley Derrick, both of North Little Rock; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Pearl Derrick.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be make to Trinity Lutheran Church, 3802 Olive Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Bayou Meto Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
