Velma M. Grant, 88, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012.
She is survived by her children, David and Sharon Grant, of Beebe, Earl F. Grant, of Benton, Linda Canard, of Jacksonville, Ruby and Paul Green, of Little Rock, Luther and Yashen Grant, of Jacksonville, Freddie Grant, of North Little Rock, Donna Harris, of North Little Rock, Floyd and Jennifer Grant, of Cabot and Jerry Grant, of North Little Rock; twenty three grandchildren; thirty two great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and her brothers, L.D. Finley and wife, Geraldine, of Bay, Arkansas and Vernon Finley, of Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Grant, Sr.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park.
