Vema Pennington Funderburk age 67 of Arkadelphia died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at her home in Arkadelphia. She was born August 28, 1942 in Graysonia, Arkansas the daughter of the late J. B. and Hathia Jackson Pennington. She worked at the Arkadelphia Human Development Center for several years and was a member of Antoine Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mia Denise Wallace; one granddaughter, Jessica Funderburk and one sister, Maxine Robbins.
Survivors are two sons, Stan Funderburk and wife, Lou Ann of Antoine, AR; Greg Funderburk of Curtis, AR; one daughter, Lisa Bearden of Delight, AR; two sisters, Charlene Park and husband, Paul of Okolona, AR; Eva Mize and husband, Hugh of Springhill, LA; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Antoine Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Newsome officiating.
