Vennie Ree Goodnight

Vennie Ree Goodnight, 102, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on April 10, 2026. Ree was the daughter of John Hollis and Mary Ann Travis. Ree enjoyed working in her flower beds, fleamarketing, and visiting with family and friends. Ree was of a strong Christian faith and enjoyed studying the Word of God. She was preceded in death by husband, Van Goodnight, sons, Frank, D.V. Goodnight, and daughter Janaus Johnson. Survived by John Hollis (Renae) Goodnight, Cathryn Taber Hirscheider (Dean), twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be May 23, 11:00 AM at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Following the graveside service, family and friends will meet at Ferndale Community Center for a visitation and potluck dinner.
