Vera Begeman

Vera Mae Bates Begeman, 80, of Dover passed away Monday, December 8, 2008. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Assembly of God and W.M.S. She sold real estate for Rainey for 12 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two sons, Bert A. (Charlotte) Wellman Jr., of Centerville, Texas and Charles E. (Molly) Wellman, of Dover; three sisters, Mary (Carl) Gottsponer, Billie Perez, all of Dover and Jerlene (Johnny) Majorwitz, of Lamar; two brothers, Robert (Betty) Bates and Dennis (Kay) Bates, all of Dover; grandchildren, Jaime (Ric) Davis, Charles S., Terry, Leasha, Christie and Christian Wellman; and great grandchildren, Ethan, Terry (T.J.), Brooklynn, Charlie and Ricky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. ?Bill? Begeman; parents, Leo and Mae Bates; sister, Willa Rich, brother, Eugene Bates and grandson, Trey Wellman.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God. Burial will be in Owens Cemetery in Dover.
