Vera S. McClain, our most beloved mother, went to join the love of her life, Reuben L. McClain on September 8, 2012. She was born November 11, 1913, in Okolona, AR. Because of her love for children, she was a long time school teacher in Arkansas. She was an inspiration to those who met her and the joy she brought to all those who knew her. Mom, we will have you in our hearts forever, but release you to the hands of God and arms of Daddy.
Survivors are two sons, Kenneth and Scotty McClain; two daughters, Julie McClain and Cherri Childers, six grandsons and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 13th from 6-8 p.m. at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be a graveside service on Friday, September 14th at 10:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to your favorite charity.
