Vera (Buck) Nix

Vera (Buck) Nix, age 89, of Arkadelphia passed away Sunday August 23, 2026 at Twin Rivers in Arkadelphia. Vera was born July 8, 1937 the daughter of Otsie and Madgalene (Williams) Buck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Nix; her parents; brother, William C. (Pete) Buck; sister, Norriece Snodgrass.

She is survived by a brother, Kendall (Cindy) Buck of Florida; brother-in-law, Charles Snodgrass of Benton; sister-in-law, Melba Buck of Hot Springs; niece, Pamela Buck of Houston, Texas.

There will be no formal visitation. The burial will be private.

The family would like to thank the staff at Twin Rivers for the outstanding care given to Vera during her stay. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
