Verda Marie Usery, 82, of Sherwood, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013. She was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone, a member of Vilonia First Baptist Church and served in the United States Air Force.
She is survived by her son, Paul Usery; nieces and nephews, Helen Jean Croswell, Susie Harrison, Jim Duke, David Duke, Phyllis Chambers and Bobby Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Leona A. Duke; husband, Bob Usery; brother, James R. Duke, and sister, Iva Lee Womack;
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
