Verlin Melton Price, Jr.
Verlin Melton Price, Jr., age 82, of Glenwood, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026.
He was born on February 9, 1944, in California. He was the son of Verlin Audra Price and Allie Mae Miller.
Verlin Price chose to move to Glenwood in the mid 90's after the deaths of his mother and older sister. A retired truck driver who became a professional photographer, he was constantly on the run.
He will be missed by many, most especially his partner (Lesley Blevins), his daughters (Tammy Van Emmenis and Allene Jahnel), his son (Robert Price), grandkids, great-grandkids (even a soon-to-be-born great-great-grandkid), and several cousins.
He spent his time racing around from place to place, having fun taking photos, or helping others with anything and everything.
A Visitation to celebrate Verlin's life will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood.
