Verna L. Garner, 96, of Little Rock, passed away January 13, 2012. She was born in Olden, Missouri to George N. and Lucy Annie Collins Inman and was of non-denominational faith.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Herbert Garner, brother, George A. Inman and sisters, Viola Hand and Margaret Jane Smith, she is survived by her daughter, Billie Jean Jones, sisters, Mabel Henson of Little Rock and Hazel Robinette of North Little Rock, and two grandchildren, Steve Bass and David Bass and his wife, Sherry, and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday, January 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), followed by burial at Rest Hills Memorial Park in Sherwood. Visitation will be this afternoon, Sunday, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
