Vernon "Buck" Cogburn

Vernon "Buck" Cogburn, age 41, of Glenwood, died Thursday, January 17, 2013. He was born on July 18, 1971, at Hot Springs, the son of Vernon Gene Cogburn, Sr. and Betty Jean Bledsoe. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Aubrielle Cogburn and his father. He was Baptist in his faith, enjoyed watching Nascar races, fishing and hunting. He dearly loved his family and he will be missed by everyone. He is survived by his mother, Betty Ford of Glenwood; two daughters, Brandi Nichole Cogburn and Erica Dawn Cogburn, both of Glenwood; two grandsons, Dylan Leon Taylor and Gavin Reece Taylor, both of Glenwood; the mother of his children, Virginia Lake of Glenwood; his grandmother, Laura Imogene Bledsoe of Glenwood; four sisters, Lisa Shaw of Arkadelphia, Diane Mathis of Benton, Lorie Cogburn of Glenwood and Cindy Porter of Arkadelphia; one brother, Chris Ford of Glenwood; one uncle, Boss Bledsoe of Glenwood; and his best friend, Kenny Rea of St. Louis, Missouri. Memorial services will be conducted by the family at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 25, 2013, in the Fancy Hill Cemetery with Bro. Danny Tillery, Jr. officiating.
