Versie Irene Gilstrap of McRae, Arkansas, better known as Sister Mother, died February 1, 2013. She was a member of the Pentecostal Faith. She is survived by four daughters, Dorothy Rains of Sugar Creek Missouri, Louise (Bob) Temar of Cincinnati, Ohio, Helen (Paul) Martinez of Sugar Creek, Missouri, Murlie (Don) Branscum of McRae; two sons, James (Nancy) Savage of Fishers, Indiana, and Fred (Alice) Savage of Independence, Missouri; one sister, Murlie Wampler of Glenco, Alabama; and seventeen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, two grandchildren, her parents, Oscar and Lydia Davis, six sisters, and four brothers.
Family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Crossroads Cemetery in Pineville, Arkansas. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
