Vincent Marchese, 85, of North Little Rock, passed away May 14, 2026, after a hard-fought battle with multiple sclerosis. Vince was born on November 26, 1940 in Hammond, Louisiana to second generation Italian immigrants, the late Joseph and Frances Milioto Marchese. In 1941, the family moved to North Little Rock where Vince grew up.
Vince was a proud graduate of Little Rock Catholic High School Class of 1958. In 1960 Vince married his high school sweetheart, Judy Williams. After several years as a radio disk jockey, including a stint on KAAY The Mighty 1090, he was introduced to the auction business where Vince found what he truly loved to do-calling an auction. He became a licensed auctioneer, real estate broker, appraiser, and insurance agent. A few years later, he established Vince Marchese Auctioneers and Real Estate Brokers. Vince was very active in the Jaycees, serving as president of the North Hills Jaycees as well as holding state and local offices for many years. He was also founding chairman of the North Pulaski Real Estate Association.
A family tradition Vince never missed was the annual Marchese Christmas Eve Spaghetti Feast at the Knights of Columbus Hall, often with as many as 75 family and friends gathering for pasta and laughter. For many years, Vince and Judy enjoyed hosting family and friends at their lake house. Weekends spent at their home in North Little Rock often meant serving up heaping platters of steak and king crab legs for a house-full of kids and their guests. In retirement, Vince enjoyed spending time with friends at the Hays Senior Center, where he played a mean game of Bean Bag Baseball.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Judith Camille Williams Marchese and his siblings, Margaret Duff, Joe Marchese, and Lucy Luyet. Survivors include sons, Vincent C. Marchese (Jolene) of North Little Rock, Todd Marchese (Kathy) of Hot Springs; daughters, Gina Pharis (Brett) of Little Rock, Jill Marchese of Little Rock; Grandchildren, Vince (Katie), Chase (Joanna), Kaitlyn (Jim), Kelsey, Michael (Kristy) and Laura (Chase) and 11 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at Conway Health and Rehabilitation for their devoted care for dad.
Visitation will be held May 27, 2026 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.
