Viola Jeannette Alton

Viola Jeannette Alton, 76, of North Little Rock passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 21, 2023.  She was born to the late Ernest Streif and the late June (Bowen) Streif in Annapolis, Maryland on January 11, 1947.  She worked as a nursing assistant, daycare mom and retail worker during her life and was a member of Spirit and Truth Pentecostal Church pastored by Kody Price.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Alton, Sr., children:  Christine (Tracy) Stracener of North Little Rock; Joseph (Christina) Alton, Jr. of Maryland and Wayne (Colleen) Alton of South Carolina; a sister, Darlene (Robert) Hopkins; and grandchildren:  Caleb Stracener, Isaac Stracener, Khloe Stracener, Olivia Alton, and Jenna Alton; as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends.

The family will host a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM, September 30, 2023 at Spirit and Truth United Pentecostal Church, 8206 JFK Blvd., Sherwood, AR.
