Violet A Phillips, 87, of North Little Rock, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, July 28, 2006. She was a Charter Member of Trinity United Methodist Church and served as secretary for many years.
She is survived by her husband of sixty two years, Thomas E. Phillips of North Little Rock; son, James E. Phillips of New Orleans, LA; daughter, Pat White and husband, Bill of North Little Rock; four grandchildren, Brad Phillips, Erin Peterson, Kerri and Kasey White; three great-grandchildren, Thomas Phillips, Ian Phillips and Jacob Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 4525 Lynch Dr., North Little Rock, AR 72117.
Service will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will be held in Rest Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.northlittlerockfuneralhome.com.
