Virgil "Don" Crook, 81, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on March 17, 2017.
He fought a long and courageous battle with his illness.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Clayton Crook and Ruby Howlett Crook and his brother, Robert Henry Crook, Sr.
He is survived by his children's mother, Sandra S. Reeg, the love of his life; Daughter, Terri (Hector) Reyes, Daughter Tamara (Joe) Harrison, Daughter Shanna (Filippo) Gallina, Son Kevin (Debbie) Crook.
Ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and one brother, Clifton (Jerralyn) Crook.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a war veteran as well as a deep sea scuba diver of which he also instructed. Following his military time, he became a Cosmetology instructor and owned two Cosmetology schools. He loved his family and his Razorbacks.
Funeral services will be held at Ironton Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 22, located at 14718 Ironton Rd, Little Rock, AR 72206. A visitation will be held at 12 PM with the funeral to follow at 1 PM.
