Virginia Ann "Jenny" Alpe

Virginia Ann "Jenny" Alpe, 72, of Bryant, Arkansas was born August 16, 1952 to James and Norma Dillon.  She passed away on July 5, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Jenny is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie Alpe; her sister, Kathy Rogers; and her oldest grandson, B.J. Ellis.

Those left to honor and carry Jenny's memory are her daughters:  Cynthia Alpe, Rebecca Wallace and husband Chris, and Shannon Alpe; sisters:  Patricia Taylor and Debbie Patton; brother, James Dillon and wife Josephine.  she is also survived by her grandchildren:  Joshua Munson and wife Lainee, Christopher "C.J." Wallace, Jr., Dillon, Jaxon, and Ashley Reed; 8 great-grandchildren:  many nieces and nephews, family members, and friends who love Jenny and will miss her always.

Jenny enjoyed being with her family and listening to her daughters laugh. Playing board games with family was a favorite time, especially on family Monopoly night, and their annual BINGO.  Jenny was an avid bowler.  She was a supportive grandmother who was present at her grandchildren's sporting events.

Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 9, at Our Lady of Fatima McGinnis Hall, 900 West Cross Street, Benton, Arkansas 72015.  

Jenny worked with Griffin-Leggett funeral homes for over 30 years, and assisted many families in writing obituaries for their loved one.  Mom, we hope we made you proud with this one. (Ha! Ha!! Love your girls, Cindy, Becky, and Shannon)
