Virginia Crotts

Virginia T. Rohwein Crotts went to be with Jesus on November 2, 2017. She was born on September 24, 1927 in Albany, Oregon to the late John Andrew and Anna Mercedes Rohwein. After marriage she moved to Arkansas and raised her family in North Little Rock. She was widowed very young (at 38), yet one of her proudest accomplishments was sending all five of her children to Catholic schools.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne Crotts Sr., her son, Mark Andrew Crotts and three sisters.
She is survived by her children, John (Cathy) Crotts, Doug (Nancy) Crotts, Cindy Call (David Williams), Robin (Thomas) Bradshaw along with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters-in-law; dear friend Shirley Crotts and family, Joyce (Ted) Banderman and family; numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Virginia was an active member of St. Mary's Church for sixty years, a Eucharistic minister within the mass and to the sick for over twenty years. She led the rosary for many years. She was a member and fundraiser for the Ladies Club. She had a stack of plates she had put aside for the cakes she made for all the bake sales. She was an active member of the Catholic Daughters of the Diocese of Little Rock.
Virginia supported the Hays Senior Center in North Little Rock through dues and participation. She loved to play bridge!
The family wants to give a special thank you to Rosanna Crotts for her loving care of our mother before she moved to Woodland Hills in Jacksonville as she aged, where she received excellent care. The good people of St. Jude were kind enough to bring her communion and pray with her.
Memorials may be made to CareLink, 706 West 4th Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114 or Helping Hand of Greater Little Rock, 1601 Marshall Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72216.
