Virginia Lee Stricklin

Virginia Lee Stricklin, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord June 28, 2025.

Virginia Lee (Armstrong) Stricklin was born December 10, 1923 in Newport, Arkansas.

She graduated Little Rock High School on May 29, 1941, and Baptist LPN School in 1982.

She was married to W. M. "Milton" Stricklin on February 6, 1942.

She worked at Tepper Children's Clinic in Chattanooga, TN, Franklin Electric Company in Jacksonville, AR, and VA Hospital in North Little Rock, AR.

Virginia was a long-time member of First Assembly of God of North Little Rock, (First NLR).

She was preceded in death by her parents M. Earl Armstrong and Madge (Murphy) Armstrong, husband W.M. Milton Stricklin, Son Paul W. Stricklin, Grandson Benjamin A. Stricklin and sister Margie Bryan.

She is survived by Daughters Ann Scharfenberg (Richard) of North Little Rock, AR. Linda Gueringer of Mayflower, AR. Daughter-in-love Susan Stricklin of North Little Rock, AR. Sons David Stricklin (Pam) of Mayflower, AR, Jim Stricklin (Cindy) of Sherwood, AR. And Sister Shirley Fagan of Fort Worth, TX.

The family would like to extend a special Thanks to the staff at Sherwood Nursing and Rehab for their great care and service.

Visitation will be at 12-1:15 pm Wednesday July 2, 2025, at Smith Family Funeral Home followed by her Memorial Service at 1:15pm. Burial to follow at Pine Crest Cemetery in Alexander, AR.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First NLR Foreign Missions.
