Viva Sowell
Viva R. Sowell, 86 of Little Rock passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at her residence. She was born on June 6, 1926 in Grant County, Arkansas and she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Lottie Hunter.
Viva was retired from St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock and was a member of Life Line Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Betty Ann Sowell and son Steven Michael Sowell.
Survivors include her son Donald Sowell of Alexander, grandchildren Donny Sowell and Stephanie Sowell, and brothers W.C. Hunter of Sardis and Lonnie Hunter of East End
Visitation will be Monday, July 23, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., both at Life Line Baptist Church in Little Rock with burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Life Line Baptist Church at 7601 Baseline Road, Little Rock, AR 72209.
