Vivian Brady

Vivian Elizabeth (Scott) Brady was born on July 31, 1946 in Olean, MO. On July 22 2026, at the age of 79, she passed away peacefully and walked through heavens golden gates with her family holding her hands and by her side. She is loved and cherished by all who knew her.

 She had a variety of interests and passions which included crocheting and teaching her grandchildren this hobby. She loved reading, the library, working on genealogy, and spending as much time as she could with all of her family. She was very active and never sat still. She enjoyed all of her travels with her husband Hilton and seeing new things. She loved taking pictures filing her photo albums. Her favorite flower was a yellow rose. She absolutely loved humming birds.

In her career, she became a LPN, then went on to become a registered nurse graduating from Nichols Career Center in Jefferson City, MO. She worked many years at Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City, then later at Eldon Nursing Home. After moving to Arkansas, she taught classes at Garland County Community College. She was able to retire and enjoy all of her free time. 

Vivian is survived by her daughters, Djuna Gabbardd of Eugene, MO., Dalana (Tim) Witt of Eldon, MO., Lisa (Charlie) Coffin of Navada, MO., Dawna (Brian) Ward of Royal, AR; son, James Martin (Amanda Mullins) of Kansas City, MO.; stepdaughters, Debbie Crone (Miles Armer) of Hot Springs, AR., Julie (Joey) Suit of Royal, AR.; sisters, Doris Taggert, Kathreen Clark; grandchildren, MaRanda, Kendra, Amber, Olivia, Magon, Harley, Dakota, Julia, Kyler, Lindsay, Hunter, Kayla, Jake, Lindee, Shauna, Joseph, Brady, Trey; and her many great children, and great- great grandchildren. 

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Embra and Pearl Scott; her brothers, Ed Scott, Len Scott, Bob Scott, Randy Scott, and Michael Scott; her sister, Betty Brady; step daughter, Janet Hill.

Services will be held in Arkansas and Missouri as follows, Arkansas services will be Monday, August 3rd, 2026 at Smith Family Funeral Home located at 2205 Airport Rd. Hot Springs, AR. with a visitation starting at 11:00 AM with a service to follow at 12:00 PM. A family meal will be provided after services.

Missouri services will be held Saturday, August 8th, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Memorial Baptist Church located at 1120 Madison Street, Jefferson City, Mo. with family and friends attending.
