W. Baker

W. C. Baker peacefully entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves his wife of fifty-five years, Vonda (Noe) Baker; his daughter, Jeannie Renee Carpenter of Beebe; his son Scotty Baker of Beebe and his wife Kristen; his brothers, Wayne Baker of Cabot and his wife Carrylon, and Doug Baker of Cabot; his sister Anna Mae of Cleveland, Ohio; his grandchildren, Vanity Johnson of Cummings, Georgia and her husband Danyell, Nate Carpenter of Beebe and his fiancé Heather, Christopher Baker of Beebe, Candi Walker of Searcy; his great-grandchildren Hayden, Brooklynn, Londyn, and Jayce, as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends. Born to William Doyle and Mary Etta Baker on May 28, 1941, W. C. had a love for music and his family. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, brothers J. D. Baker and Eugene Baker, sisters Lola Baker and Evelyn Blake and granddaughter Mandie Carpenter. He was given exceptional care by his Summit Hospice nurses, Faith, Roxie and Bobbie.
