Wade H. Scott, Jr., died January 10, 2018. He was born April 26, 1930, son of Wade H. and Vena Marie Scott of North Little Rock. He attended North Little Rock public schools, graduating from North Little Rock High School in 1948. He attended Little Rock Junior College and Hendrix College, graduating in 1952 with a B.A. in Business Administration.

Wade served four years active duty in the United States Navy as a naval aviator. He returned to North Little Rock after his service in the Navy and married the former Nancy Jo Spragins in 1957. He wholesaled millwork at Scott Sash & Door Co. for 32 years, retiring as president of the company in 1988.

Wade attended Fellowship Bible Church and served in the First Touch ministry and as leader of a Community Group. Wade and his wife were foster parents for Bethany Christian Services Adoption Agency.

Wade is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Spragins Scott; three sons, Wade H. Scott III (Carol), Joel V. Scott (Deanna), of Little Rock and David E. Scott (Sydney) of McKinney, Texas; eight grandchildren; sister, Wadena Scott Lemley of Ventura, California; and three nieces, Cara Hammond Witherspoon of Alma, Arkansas, Amy Hammond Landreth of McKinney and Myra Lemley Nunley of Ventura.

Services will be Saturday, January 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Bible Church, officiated by Rev. Shelby Smith and Rev. Bill Parkinson. Memorials may be made to Fellowship Bible Church, Bethany Christian Services, or Ozark Conferences.
