Walter Ford

Walter Jackson Ford, 78, of Sparkman died Saturday morning March 25, 2006 at his home.  He was born July 3, 1927 at Brassfield, Monroe County, AR to Dee Dillard and Dorothy Erwin Ford.  He was a retired construction ironworker foreman, and a founder of the Bush Creek Hunting Club.  He was preceded in death by 3 brothers.
 
Survivors include: his wife, Ruth Moore Ford of the home; one son, Jackie Ford of Sparkman; one daughter, Doris Anderson of Sparkman; two brothers, Charles and Lloyd Ford, both of Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grand children.
 
Funeral Services will be Monday 2:30 PM at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia, with The Rev. Billy Reed officiating.  Burial will be in the Sparkman Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Sunday 4-6 PM at the funeral home.
