Walter J. Guinn,age 84 of Arkadelphia died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006 at his home. He was born Oct 16, 1921 in Japton, AR, the son of the late William Jesse and Leona Walker Guinn. He was a retired farmer from Wesley, AR and a retired businessman in Fayetteville, AR He was a member of the Pine Street Church of Christ in Arkadelphia and was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Tommy Wheeler Guinn; one daughter, Mary Jo Guinn of Brown Springs, AR; one brother, Reno Guinn of Wesley, AR; two sisters, Opal Lawson of Buena Park, CA and Ida Gooding of Wichita, KA.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006 in Brashears Funeral Chapel in Huntsville, AR. Interment will be in Aurora Cemetery in Aurora, AR. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Tuesday Jan. 31, 2006 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia
