Walter "Lamar" Reynolds

Lamar, 60 of Conway , Arkansas passed away June 21, 2026 in Searcy, Arkansas. Lamar was born October 11, 1965 in Helena, Arkansas , son to R.V. Reynolds and Lillie Jameson.

He is survived by his mother: Lillie Jameson, Sister: Judy Scroggins from Searcy, AR Nephew : Matthew(Emma) Buist from Texas, Nieces: Brooke(Benjamin) Metzgar from Ohio. Great Nephews: Michail Forrester, Skylar Forrester, Colton Forrester. Great Nieces: Isabella Metzgar and Serenity Metzgar, from Ohio. Step Brothers: Randy Copeland of Hot springs, AR. Jeff Copeland of Hot springs, AR late Junior Copeland of Hot Springs, AR.

He was preceded in death by his father: R.V Reynolds, one brother: Rickey Reynolds ,Stepdad: Charles Jameson , and Stepmom: Fince Reynolds.

Lamar loved fishing, listening to Johnny Carson’s comedian shows. He loved to pretend he was driving with his dad R.V. He loved to listen to t.v. Sport caster by late Charlie B. Watson from Memphis, TN.

He was raised at CHDC ( Conway Human Development Center ) since the age of 9 to 60 years old. He loved each and everyone that took care of him there. He loved outdoors and riding the train. Lamar was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

Graveside services for Walter Lamar Reynolds will be held on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 1:30 pm at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00am to 10:00am at Smith Family Funeral Home, Conway Arkansas.
