Walter Edwin White, 88, of Faulkner County, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. He was born on November 30, 1924 to Walter and Aurora Powell White. Walter retired from the United States Navy and the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department.
He is survived by his son, Michael White (Debbie); daughter, Beverly McClure (Michael); grandchildren, Shanna Francis (Philip), Malanya Donaho (Travis), Jennifer Sago (Robert), Amelia Laster (Tommy) and Claire Devall (Frank); great-grandchildren, Gideon Donaho, Triana Francis and Andrew Harvey. He was preceded in death by his wife Ethel White and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8th at Bible Baptist Church, 3301 N. 1st St, Jacksonville, AR 72076, with Reverend Mike Files officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., prior to the service. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, AR.
