Waymond Cox

Waymond David Cox, 74, of North Little Rock passed away Friday, December 11, 2020. He was born September 10, 1946 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Albert and Jewel Cox.

He was retired from Pettit and Pettit Engineers, a member of Cedar Heights Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army.

Waymond is survived by his wife of 54 years, Helen Wade Cox; two children, Angela Francis (Anthony) and David Cox (Jennifer); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Scarlette, Houston, Lauren, Carson, Marcus, Taylon and Cannon; and one sister, Luvenia Vincent. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Skylar Cox and two brothers, Henry and Elvis Cox.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of his granddaughter, Lauren Motes, to ACCESS , 10618 Breckenridge Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211, please put Waymond Cox in memo line.

A visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2020, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery .
