Eva “Waynette” Ann Kilpatrick, 84, was called home Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at St. Vincent Hospital, surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Thomas C. Kilpatrick, with whom she enjoyed 53 years of marriage.
Waynette was born April 22, 1942 at Baptist Hospital, Little Rock, Arkansas. Her parents were Wayne and Caloma Leath. She attended Arkansas State Teachers College, now UCA, from 1962- 1964. March 9th, 1973, Waynette married Thomas C. Kilpatrick. They would welcome their son Thomas M. Kilpatrick in 1974 and their son Calvin Wayne Kilpatrick four years later. She worked for Wonder bread for many years before retiring in 2009.
Waynette never met a stranger. She was kind and full of Grace. She enjoyed watching the Razorback play with her son, Calvin, getting her hair done at David’s Barber and Beauty Shop, cooking with her son, Tommy, making chocolate pretzels for her friends and family, and spoiling all five of her grandchildren and grand-dogs. Most evenings you could find her watching gameshows, playing solitaire, or playing card games with her mother-in-law, Allie Kilpatrick.
Waynette was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmie Leath, her parents Wayne and Caloma, and her Mother-in-Law Allie. She is survived by her husband Thomas C. Kilpatrick, her sons Thomas M. and CW, their sister-in-law, Betty and her husband, Jimmie Palmer, and grandchildren Emily, Austin, Kyler, Kooper, and Kylie.
The Kilpatrick family would like to extend a special thanks to Heather Henries and Holli Thompson for their love and kindness throughout Waynette’s life and their support during her final days.
Waynette will be laid to rest Friday, September 11, 2026 at 11am, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6707 Dollarway Rd. Pine Bluff, AR 71602. We love you, Waynette. Rest with God.
