Willa Gimblet

Willa Bea Dillon Gimblet, 94, of North Little Rock passed away on October 21st, 2017. Bea was born June 30, 1923 in North Little Rock and lived all her life there. She graduated from North Little Rock High School and worked for Worthen Bank as an elevator operator and also with an Insurance company. Bea met the love of her life when the 35th Infantry Division was activated in 1941 and sent to Camo Robinson for a year of training when WWII started. She married Noah A. (Buster) Gimblet, and followed him to California, Alabama, and North Carolina before he left for England and then Europe. Bea returned home and awaited his return. After the war they had a son, Ronald, and later moved to Camp Robinson to live in a renovated military building. This was the happiest period of her life as she was close to family and friends. Bea loved square dancing, Bowling, Gardening, and just exploring Camp Robinson.
She is survived by her son Ronald (Elaine) Gimblet; brothers, Billy (Betty) Dillon, Bobby (Darlene) Dillon, and Reccie (Elizabeth) Dillon; a grandson, Aaron (Jessica) Gimblet, and step-grandkids, Brandon Eubanks, Meredith Snow, Brent Phillips, Susy Chandler, and Jayme Sturgeon.
We wish to thank the staff at Good Shepard for the love and support they gave her during the last two years of her life and also Robinson Nursing and Rehab and Kindred Hospice during her last few days. She and Buster can now spend eternity together.
