William "B.J." Henry Dodgen

William “B.J.” Henry Dodgen, Jr of Conway, Arkansas went to be with our Lord on November 2, 2025. He was born on June 8,1974 to William “Bill” and Virginia Dodgen in Texarkana, Texas.

B.J. is proceeded in death by his grandparents, William “Bill” Monroe Dodgen and Cecilia Marie (Kaufman) Dodgen of Alexander, Arkansas; his grandparents, Raymond and Gwen (Smith) Tedford of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and his godparents, Bob and Pat Schaefers of Conway, Arkansas.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Virginia Dodgen of Conway, Arkansas; his sister, Sara (Toby) Nutt of Alma; his nieces, Bella and Julia Nutt of Conway; and his nephews, Tristan and Colton Nutt of Alma.

B.J. graduated from St. Joseph High School and received a bachelor’s degree of Horticulture from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He was an avid outdoorsman. B.J. loved to hunt, fish, and spend time on the farm. He also enjoyed working in his garden.

A rosary will be held at 5:30, with visitation following from 6:00 – 7:00 at Smith Family Funeral Home in Conway on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, Arkansas.
