Willard Schroeder

Willard Robert Schroeder, 79, of Garner, Arkansas, born June 3, 1929, to August and Bertha Voester Schroeder, passed away October 24, 2008. He was a Sergeant in the Army, a member of the Higginson Baptist Church, a farmer of catfish, rice and soybeans, owned Schroeder's Catfish Paradise in Garner and a member of the Beebe VFW club. Willard is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Karen Schroeder. He is survived by two sons; Kent Schroeder and wife Helen of Cabot, Norman Schroeder of Garner; six grandsons, Kent Jr., Kirk, Norman Jr., Glenn, Ben and Doug; six granddaughters, Amanda, Keri, Shelley, Teresa, Brittany and Riley; eight great grandchildren; one brother Herb Schroeder and wife Betty of Searcy; Geraldine Burgess, the mother of their children. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2008 at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
