William "Bud" Anderson

William "Bud" Anderson, age 67, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

He was born on July 12, 1958 in Murfreesboro. He was the son of Jesse Aaron Anderson and Peggy Joyce Lane Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bud was Church of Christ in his faith. He graduated from Murfreesboro High School. He owned and operated B&B Tree Service until he retired. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Bud loved fishing, playing darts, and playing pool. Bud will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He is survived by his son, Buddy A. Anderson; his three sisters and brother-in-law, Janice and Clifford Nixon, Vickie L. Reid, and Peggy McGee; and many loving nieces, nephews, and a host of wonderful friends.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Kirby Cemetery with Bro. Kevin Jewell officiating.

Pallbearers will be Clifford Nixon, Steve Hill, and Billy Cogburn.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Zach Witherspoon.
