William "Bill" O. Blackwell, 67, of Maumelle, AR, died March 18, 2015, at the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born September 15, 1947, in Lake Village, AR, the ninth child of Robert L. Sr. and Florence Wilchman Blackwell of Jennie, AR.
He was a graduate of Eudora High School and Mississippi Southern University. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. Bill was a Christian and a life-long Southern Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings: Robert L. Blackwell, Jr., Mary Edna Blackwell, Sally Ann Williams, and George Blackwell.
Bill is survived by four siblings: Henrietta Broach of Lake Village, Peggy Davis (Jackie) of Arlington, TX, Thomas Blackwell (Judy) of Benton, Freda Blackwell of Oak Harbor, WA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also survived by a special friend, Billie Mardis of Maumelle, AR.
