William Presley Bumgardner, 81, of Little Rock, passed away April 22, 2011. He was born in Little Rock to R. D. and Nettie Palmer Bumgardner and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Preceded in death by his father and a grandson, Daniel Bumgardner, he is survived by his mother, Nettie Schmeckenbecher; his daughter, Nettie Campbell and husband, Jody of Little Rock; sons, Steve Bumgardner and wife, Becky of Little Rock and Thomas Bumgardner and wife, Debbie of Russiaville, Indiana; sister, Marilyn Brooks and husband, Donald of Little Rock; and grandchildren, Shasta Griffin and husband, Jason, Lacy Bumgardner, Joseph Bumgardner and Jason Bumgardner, all of Little Rock.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, April 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, officiated by Rev. Dennis Holmes.
