William ?Bill? Avery Cummings, Sr., 55, of North Little Rock, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2007. He was a Postal employee for 25 years. Mr. Cummings was a member of the Pine Valley Hunting Club in Mayflower and the National Association of Letter Carriers.
He is survived by his son, Bill Cummings, Jr. and wife, Hollie, of Sherwood; two grandchildren, Kaitlin and Lexie Cummings of Sherwood; three sisters, Pat Alardin of Little Rock, Sandra Boster and husband, Harold, of Sherwood and Cathy Cerrato and husband, Al, of Maumelle; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Mr. Cummings was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Kay Cummings; parents, Homer and Cathryn Cummings; a brother, Homer Dewayne Cummings; and a sister, Brenda ?Peacock? Caddess.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Brownsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
