William EuDell Orvis, 56, of Floyd Arkansas passed away Tuesday March 10th, 2026. He was born July 17th, 1969, in Searcy Arkansas to Cora Dell Orvis and William Eugene Orvis. He graduated from Beebe High School in 1988. He resided in Arkansas his entire life.
He joined the Military out of High School, serving 22 years total between the National Guard and Army Reserves and received the rank of Sergeant First Class before retiring. He founded Orvis Fence Company in 2006 and continued to work for himself until the day he died. His true passion and occupation was farming and ranching. He had a wonderful sense for taking care of animals as well as people. He was deeply involved in the community. He served on the Floyd ball park board, managed the New Floyd Cemetery, and he was often involved in community activities. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, gardening, reading, sitting around a fire, and helping others. His favorite past time was going to Sunday dinners with his family.
Dell is survived by his sons, Joshua Wayne Manley and William Alexander Orvis; daughter, Amelia Grace Orvis; parents, Cora Dell Orvis and William EuGene Orvis; brothers, Preston Wayne Orvis, Darrell Lynn Orvis and, many many beloved cousins.
His visitation will be 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 15th, 2026, at the Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home (404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr., Beebe). His Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday March 16th, 2026, at the Union Valley Baptist Church (932 US-64 W Beebe), with the burial following the service at the New Floyd Cemetery (127 El Paso Rd, Searcy).
